LICENSE REVIEW COMMITTEE MINUTES AUGUST 4 , 2026 The regular meeting of The License Review Committee for the City of Monona was called to order by Chair Wood at 4:0 0 pm ROLL CALL Present: Chair Doug Wood, Dan Kramarz, Jill Mueller, Wayne Kimmell, and Cassidy Wartenweiler Absent (excused): None Also Present: Clerk Chrissy Kahl APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Mueller , seconded by Kramarz , to approve the minutes of the Ju ly 14 , 2026, License Review Committee meeting. Motion carried. APPEARANCES There were no appearances. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5 A. Consideration of New Application for 2026/2027 Class “ B ” Fermented Malt Beverage for AmericInn, 101 W Broadway . Jagdish Patel, owner, was in attendance. He would like to sell beer from the front counter at AmericInn. Mr. Patel will be the only licensed operator. Beer will be stored in the office located behind the front counter. If Mr. Patel is not present/working, the office will be locked with no access by anyone else. Motion by Kramarz , seconded by Kimmell , to approve the 2026/2027 Class “ B ” Fermented Malt Beverage for AmericInn, 101 W Broadway . Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS *Taken in this order: 6. C, E, D, A, B* 6 A . Consideration of Application for Amplified Device Permit f or Andy Kitslaar, 4500 – 4600 Midmoor Road, for requested date 8/22/2026 . There was no appearance by the homeowner for this meeting. The committee did not have concerns as this is an annual block party with no issues in the past. Motion by Mueller, seconded by Wartenweiler , to approve the amplified device permit for the date of August 2 2 , 2026. Motion carried. 6 B . Consideration of Application for Amplified Device Permit for Rick Larson , 4804 Midmoor Road, for requested date 8/30/2026 . There was no appearance by the homeowner for this meeting. The committee did not have concerns as this is an annual neighborhood party with no issues in the past. Motion by Kimmell, seconded by Wartenweiler , to approve the Amplified Device Permit for the date of August 30, 2026 . Motion carried. 6 C . Consideration of Application for Amplified Device Permit for Silver Eagle Bar & Grill , 5805 Monona Drive , for requested date 9/16/ 2026 . Owner, Lauren Lottes, was in attendance. This is for a live band set up on the patio or in the parking lot for an event. Motion by Mueller, seconded by Wartenweiler to approve the Amplified Device Permit for the date of September 16, 2026. Motion carried. 6 D . Consideration of Application for Amplified Device Permit for Breakwater Monona, 6308 Inland Way, for requested date s in August and September 2026 . Tim Trpkosh, manager, was in attendance. They are planning live music, trivia and possibly karaoke. Motion by Mueller , seconded by Kramarz , to approve the Amplified Device Permit for the requested date s in August and September 2026. Motion carried. 6 E . Consideration of Application for Amplified Device Permit for Nathan Reuter , 1120 Birch Haven Circle , for requested date 9/6/ 2026 . Nathan Reuter was in attendance. This is an annual neighborhood event featuring multiple live music bands on the dock . Mr. Reuter asked for a 1-hour extension to have music until 10:00 pm. Motion by Kimmell , seconded by Wartenweiler , to approve the Amplified Device Permit for the requested date of September 6 , 2026, to include an extension to allow live music until 10:00 pm .
