NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING on 2026 BUDGET and BUDGET SUMMARY FOR THE TOWN OF NEW HOPE, PORTAGE COUNTY , WI Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, the 19th day of November, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the North New Hope Church, 845 County Road T North, Amherst Junction, a PUBLIC HEARING on the 2026 PROPOSED BUDGET for the Town of New Hope will be held. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the clerk’s office, and is posted on the Town Website (tn.newhope.wi.gov). A budget summary is posted at 845 County Road T North and Sunset Lake kiosks, on the town website, and will be available at the Public Hearing. Agenda: 1. Call to order, followed by Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Discussion and review of proposed 2026 Budget. 3. Adjournment. NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF NEW HOPE, PORTAGE COUNTY , WI Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, the 19th day of November, 2025, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2026 town budget, which begins at 6:00 pm at the North New Hope Church, a SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS of the Town of New Hope will be held pursuant to Wis. Stat. §Sec. 60.12(1)(c) of Wis. Stat. by the Town Board, for the following purposes: Agenda: 1. To approve the 2025 total town tax levy (to be collected in 2026), pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 60.10(1)(a) in the amount of $171,566, the allowable 2025 town tax levy. 2. To approve the total highway expenditures for 2026 pursuant to Sec. 81.01(3) of Wis. Stat 3. Adjournment. NOTICE OF TOWN BOARD MEETING FOR THE TOWN OF NEW HOPE Notice is further given that immediately following the Special Town Meeting of Electors, the Town Board of the Town of New Hope will meet to adopt the 2026 Budget.
