TOWN OF WESTPORT TOWN BOARD – Monday, August 17, 2026 A regular meeting of the Town Board was called to order at 6:00 pm by Town Vice Chair Joe Pichette in the Community Meeting Room of the Bernard J. Kennedy Administration Building/Town Hall. Members Present: Pichette, Manering, Crowell and Werner. Members Absent: Cuccia. Also Present: Dean Grosskopf, Bill Cole and Haven Hatleburg. Grosskopf confirmed that this meeting conforms with open meetings law. There was no Public Comment on Matters not on the agenda. The minutes of August 3, 2026, Town Board Meeting were approved on a motion by Manering, second Crowell. Grosskopf reported on the Incorporation process. There is a public hearing scheduled by the Incorporation Review Board for Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:00 pm. at the Westport Town Hall. Bill Cole appeared briefly to distribute printed copies of the Incorporation Petition to the Board members and to brief the Town Board on the Incorporation Review Board’s upcoming tour of Westport and the public hearing process. No closed session was held. Grosskopf reported that the Town Plan Commission is cancelled for September. The Waunakee/Westport Joint Plan Commission and the Middleton/Westport JZC have no scheduled items. The Waunakee Area EMS meeting was not held due to the lack of a quorum. Werner reported on the HPC. Manering gave an update on the Park Committee and the public art project. Crowell, reporting on behalf of the Audit Committee, stated that the current bills were reviewed and found to be in order. Current bills were paid as presented on a motion by Crowell, second Manering. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:22 pm, on a motion by Werner, second Crowell. Dean A.
