Kennedy Administration Building/Town Hall. Members Present: Ben Buss, Amy Freidig, Gary Grosskoph, Mick Holm and Mary Manering. Absent: None. Public Present: None. Freidig confirmed that this meeting conforms with open meetings law. There was no public comment on matters not on the agenda. The Minutes of May 6, 2026, Park Committee Meeting were approved on a motion by Mannering, second Grosskoph, motion approved unanimously. The Community of Bishops Bay, Jacobsen Park – Proposed Park Improvements and Maintenance Agreement - The committee reviewed the proposal. The Parks Committee will provide feedback on the proposal to the Board. Town Park Center - The committee discussed obtaining a new proposal and sketches for the town sculpture. The current state of the tennis courts and potential future plans were discussed. A wind screen was put up at the tennis courts. Tree Planting Plan - Ten trees were planted, including willows by the tennis courts and other trees at Mary Lake Park. Replacement trees are coming to replace dead trees. The memorial tree approach was discussed. A planting list for 30 trees needs to be submitted by fall per the grant. General Park / Trail Maintenance and Development - The committee discussed any resurfacing plans for the Mary Lake Park basketball courts. Recommendations for Upcoming Town Plan Commission and Joint Plan Commission Meetings - Bishops Bay Park - Tennis court/pickleball court in Town Center - 30 more trees - Memorial tree approach Misc. Matters / Forthcoming Events - None The meeting was adjourned at 7:08 p.m., on a motion to adjourn by Holm. The motion carried. The next HPC meeting is July 1, 2026.
