The Oak Creek Public Library Board met on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Those present were Pamela Aiken , Sharon Armstrong, Stephanie Matthews, Jill Meyer, Karen Umbs and Jill Lininger. Greg Loreck was excused. Armstrong called the meeting to order at 5:00p.m. New Business  A motion was made by Aiken and seconded by Umbs to approve the minutes of August 13, 2026. Motion carried.  A motion was made by Aiken and seconded by Meyer to approve the August 2026 vendor summary in the amount of $118,517.02. Motion carried. Informational and Discussion Items  Director Jill Lininger provided updates on: o Budget and revenues o Monthly staff report highlights: The summer reading program has ended. The Jim Gill concert at Family Night was well received. The Super 8 reel converter and vinyl record converter that were donated have been put into circulation. The summer interns finished their term. o Monthly calendar highlights: In September the library will feature the National Library Card Sign Up. The goal is 200 patrons. A motion was made by Umbs and seconded by Aiken to adjourn at 5:11p.m. Motion carried.
