City of Oak Creek MINUTES, 2026 BOARD OF REVIEW WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, 2026 AT 5: 00 P. M. 1. The meeting was called to order at 5:02 p.m. Present were Chair Brad Evans, City Assessor Sam Monroe, Tyler Office Manager Rebecca Claus, Vice - Chair James Zywicki, Board Members Jim Potter, Elizabeth Jackson, Donald Garcia -Dwyer, and City Clerk Catherine Roeske. Board member Wilinski was excused. 2. Assessor Monroe verbally presented the 2026 Annual Assessment report to the Board. The Annual Assessment Report is no longer required to be submitted to the State of Wisconsin, - therefore, the City Assessor presented an abbreviated summary to the Board. Notices of assessment were mailed April 7, 2026. The Open Book period was between April 13 and May 1, 2026. The Assessor met with 193 residential parcels, resulting in a change amount of 11, 147, 500). Assessor met with 28 Commercial that resulted in ( 20, 257, 700). The Annual Assessment Report is attached to the minutes of this meeting. The City Assessor presented the Assessor' s Affidavit to the Board. 3. City Assessor presented the 2026 Assessment Roll to the Board. 4. There were no requests to testify by telephone or submit a sworn statement, and no waivers of the required 48- hour notice of intent to file an objection when there is good cause. No action was taken by the Board. 5. The following hearings were held: a. Howell Ave. 6744 LLC, - 6744 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53154 Tax Key 733 9010 000, Agent Ryan Simatic representing von Briesen & Roper, s. c. and owner Steve Werner presented testimony on behalf of the Objector. Garcia - Dwyer moved to affirm the City Assessor values, Potter second. On roll call, Board Members Jackson, Garcia - Dwyer, Evans, and Potter voted Aye. Vice Chair Zywicki voted no. Motion carried. 6. Assessor Monroe advised there are no omissions or corrections of errors to be approved. 7. Evans moved that the Board has sufficiently reviewed the 2026 Assessment Roll and considers it complete, Zywicki second. All voted aye to accept the Roll. 8. Chair Evens acknowledged no modifications were made to the 2026 Assessment Roll by the Board of Review. 9. Evans moved to final adjourn the 2026 Board of Review upon completion and mailing of all final determination notices. Potter second. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned at 7:00 pm. ATTEST: Catherine A.
