TOWN OF SPOONER Board of Review (BOR) Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 - 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Spooner Town Hall, N6124 Blooming Vale Rd, Spooner, WI 54801 Discussion/Action can be taken on any agenda item. 1.Call to Order and Roll Call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Confirmation of appropriate BOR and Open Meetings notices. 4. Selection of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for BOR. 5. Verification that at least one BOR member has met the mandatory training requirements. 6. Verification that the Town has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the Assessor under state law – Wis. Stat. § 70.47(7)(af). 7. Review of process regarding waiver of BOR hearing requests. 8. Receive assessment roll and sworn statements. 9. Examine assessment roll and perform statutory duties to correct description or calculation errors, add omitted property and eliminate double assessed property. 10. Certify all corrections of error under state law (Wis. Stat. § 70.43). 11. Verify with the Assessor that open book changes are included in the assessment roll. 12. Allow taxpayers to examine assessment data. 13. Review Notices of Intent to File Objection 14. Proceed to hear objections, if any and if proper notice/waivers given, unless scheduled for another date. 15. Consider/act on scheduling additional BOR Date(s). 16. Adjourn (to future date if necessary).
