Town of Spooner 1WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN July 14 2026 6:00pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson , Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Betsy Lambert. Others present: Rick S., Mabi P., Tammy M. Minutes of June Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervisor Johnson, Second Chairman Frankiewicz, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Totals in accounts given and everything in good shape. Communication: Receiving road funds. Treasurer’s excel and word going forward with be paid out of the money market account. Public Comments: None Old Business: None New Business: Discussion of resolution between Town of Spooner and Mosaic Technologies. Tammy M. from Mosaic spoke regarding applying for grant, how process would work etc. Motion to approve and adopt resolution #07-14-2026 between Mosaic Technologies and Town of Spooner made by Chairman Frankiewicz, Second by Supervisor Johnson, Motion passed. Discussion of raising Operator’s license from $10.00 to $20.00 to better align with costs associated. Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz, Second by Supervisor Johnson, Motion passed. Highway Update and Expenditures: Bill for boat landing and patch work received. Downed Poplar tree on Dilly Road taken care of. Yellow Sands Road to be done in the fall. Discussion on getting lines repainted in town hall parking lot. Payment of Bills: Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to approve the payment of bills Second by Supervisor Johnson, motion carried unanimously.
