Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN June 9 2026 6:00pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson , Supervisor Chris Thompson, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Betsy Lambert. Others present: Rick S., Mabi P., Marggie B. Minutes of May Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervisor Thompson, Second Supervisor Johnson, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Money taken out of money market account to pay bills. Everything else in order. Rules for open book and board of review that were received from county treasurer’s office were turned over to chairman Frankiewicz for review. Communication: None Public Comments: Marggie Banker Superintendent of Spooner schools thankful for township’s 1.4 million in school funding. Mabi P. thankful for repair of boat landing area. Old Business: None New Business: Liquor license approval for Spooner Golf Club. Motion by Supervisor Johnson to approve, Second by Supervisor Thompson, Motion passed. Highway Update and Expenditures: Degnar road looks good. Have not started Dilly lake road yet. Yellow Sands road will be done in the fall. Discussion of having parking lines redone in town hall parking lot. Payment of Bills: Motion by Supervisor Thompson, to approve the payment of bills Second by Supervisor Johnson motion carried unanimously.
