Town of Spooner 1WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN May 12 2026 6:00pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson , Supervisor Chris Thompson, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Betsy Lambert. Others present: Nick D. Minutes of April Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervisor Johnson, Second Supervisor Thompson, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: GTA Funds received in Money Market account. Up from last year. Checking has one outstanding check. Communication: Pest control will spray again in the spring and fall. Public Comments: None Old Business: None New Business: 1. TRID grant. Will see how budget is and decide in December or January whether to do Spooner lake road over 2 or 3 years. 2. Motion to accept bid to finish Yellow Sands Road, Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz, Second by Supervisor Thompson. Motion passed. 3. Motion to accept bid for Degnar Road, Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz, second by Supervisor Johnson. Motion Passed. 4. Motion to accept bid for Dilly Lake Road, Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz, second by Supervisor Thompson. Motion passed. 5. Open book meeting to adjourn scheduled for May 28th 5pm. 6. Liquor license approval for the Burch Barn. Motion to approve by Chairman Frankiewicz, second by Supervisor Johnson. Motion passed. 7. Liquor license approval for AAA Sports Shop. Motion to approve by Chairman Frankiewicz, second by Supervisor Thompson. Motion passed. Highway Update and Expenditures: Bids accepted for Yellow Sands, Degnar, and Dilly Lake Roads. Payment of Bills: Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to approve the payment of bills Second by Supervisor Thompson motion carried unanimously.
