Design Review Board Meeting Minutes Thursday, July 23, 2026 1. Call to order. The meeting was called to order at 5:28 p.m. Members present: Scott Kraehnke, Chair; Lybra Loest, Bob Miller, and Mary Wright. Others present: Josh Meldman, and Planning and Development Director Bart Griepentrog. 2. Approval of the July 9, 2026 meeting minutes. Mr. Miller motioned to approve the minutes, as drafted; seconded by Ms. Loest. Vote 4-0. 3. Consideration of the application and plan on file for window modifications (north and east elevations) at residential property 3914 N. Farwell Avenue. Josh Meldman was present to discuss this item. Director Griepentrog noted that the proposed changes relate to a kitchen relocation/remodel and would accommodate the placement of a stove and sink. Chair Kraehnke confirmed that the new window would feature two casement windows with a picture window in the middle. He also confirmed that the siding on the house was LP SmartSiding and noted that plans indicate that the patched siding would match and feature staggered joints and that the trim would match. He stated that he was not excited to see casement windows, but noted that there was already a mix of window types on the rear elevation. Ms. Wright said she would be concerned if it was on the front. Ms. Loest motioned to approve the plans, as submitted; seconded by Ms. Wright. Vote 4-0. 4. Future Agenda Items No future agenda items were discussed. 5. Adjournment.
