Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN June 10 2025 6pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Betsy Lambert. Others present: Mabi Plisky, Wayne Poteet, A.J. Salquist Minutes of May Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Chairman Frankiewicz, Second Supervisor Johnson, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Balance of ARPA funds transferred from money market to savings. Bills paid. Communication: None Public Comments: None Old Business: NONE New Business: Discussion of doing ¾ mile of Yellow Sands road vs. ½ mile. ¾ mile would potentially put town over budget. Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to accept bid from Washburn County to do ½ mile of Yellow Sands Road, 2nd by Supervisor Johnson. Motion Passed unanimously. Discussion of Park Place and donation. Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to table final discussion to July meeting, 2nd Supervisor Johnson, motion passed Highway Update and Expenditures: No new updates Payment of Bills: Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to approve the payment of bills Second by Supervisor Johnson motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: July 8 2025 Future Agenda Items: Park Place Road Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Chairman Frankiewicz.
