Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN February 11 2025 6pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf. Absent Supervisor Macone Others present: Rick Seckora Minutes of January Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervision Johnson, Second Chairman Frankiewics, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Everything is in order. Savings account now reflects tax payments Correspondence: Public Comments: Gary introduced Betsy, who is observing clerk position Old Business NONE New Business: Brightspeed would like letter of support for grant for rural high speed internet. Motion made by Chairman Frankiewicz to send letter, seconded by Supervisor Johnson, motion passed. Highway Update and Expenditures: Salt and Sand three times since last meeting. Jesse Kauffman plowed 3 times. County would like estimate of blacktop we may need for future projets this spring. Payment of Bills: Motion by Chairman Frankiewicz to approve the payment of bills Second by Johnson motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: March 11 2025 Future Agenda Items: Revisit Boat Launch Fees Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Johnson, seconded by Chairman Frankiewics.
