Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN November 12, 2024 following Electors Meeting Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 6:20pm by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Supervisor Miles Macone, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf Others present: Rick Seckora, Christopher Thompson, Katie Thompson Minutes of October Regular Meeting: Motion to approve: Supervision Johnson, Second Supervisor Macone, motion passed. Treasurer’s Report: Will be transferring $167,000 from Saving to the MM account, this is our portion of the taxes collected. Correspondence: Winter Schedule and contact information from Highway Dept. Public Comments: Tree Branch down on Spooner Lake Road, its hitting the school bus as they drive by. Jon will look into this. Gary is planning to put mulch in the Town Park in the Spring Old Business NONE New Business: Approve Tax Levy of $168,231.00 Motion by Supervisor Macone, seconded by Supervisor Johnson, Motion passed. Burn Pit Report: Key has been checked out several times and residents are using the facility. Highway Update and Expenditures: County put signs up on Dilly Lake Rd. Roads are all patched. Branch on Spooner Lake Road will be removed by Grubbys Tree Service if Jon can’t do it himself. Payment of Bills: Motion by Supervisor Macone to approve the payment of bills Second by Frankiewicz motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: Tuesday December 10th 2024 6pm Future Agenda Items: Town Clean up Days Set Date for Caucus Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Macone, seconded by Supervisor Johnson.
