Citizens from Buliks Trailer Park spoke re; the issue that they have no water pressure. This issue has been going on for months. Wondering who they can talk to to get this resolved.
Advised: County is responsible for water, ADRC would be a good starting point. County Board meeting is the 3rd Tuesday of the month
Chairman Frankiewicz would like to take down the sign at the Spooner Lake Boat Landing that states there is a $500 fine for power loading. We cannot enforce this. Looking into a sign with different wording
Supervisor Macone stated that Joe Weiss was voted off the Conservation Board, members from the Lake District voted him off. He was VP and stood to be President. If this was possibly done out of spite, things have gone too far and this is not fair
Old Business NONE
New Business:
Motions all carried
Public Comments RE; Rezone and CUP for Foss Property
Citizen wondered what kind of storage unit this will be? For rent or personal use.
We would be opposed to this. Was told there would only be 5 lots but now there are 8, houses built on our property lines. Potential for this storage unit and more houses
Tom Foss replied County is requiring me to rezone from Ag to Ag Res. I would be building a storage unit to rent out, mini storage. Per the County I must rezone all 23.5 acres.
Citizen bought a lot from Tom Foss. I expect to see more houses, would like to see accountability for the road going in. Road should have to go in before other lots go in. Against the storage units in a neighborhood, no commercial venture in a residential area.
Citizen the County Zoning Committee relies on actions taken by the Town Board. I have been to enough meetings to know that the Town votes do make a difference. Neighbors have concerns, They should be able to work this out. Could the Town postpone this vote until July?
Supervisor Macone made motion to move this vote to the July meeting. Seconded by Supervisor Johnson. Motion carried.
Supervisor Macone also stated that it’s a good idea to email the Board with their concerns so they have time to read through them before the meeting.
Citizen Storage units will bring more traffic, don’t want to live across from a parking lot. Was told it would be a wildflower field
Citizen concerned about theft that a storage until could potentially bring to the neighborhood.
Mann Road Bids
Bids open for ¾ mile
Bid from Stout Construction $111,827.56
Estimate from Washburn Co. $115,602.00
Motion to accept bid from Washburn County made by Supervisor Macone, seconded by Supervisor Johnson, motion carried.
Citizen concerned about where the funds are coming from for the road project.
Per Chairman Frankiewicz funds are budgeted for this project and come from taxes, shared revenue, reserves and ARPA funds.
Per Supervisor Macone, regular road budget allows for about 1 mile a year. We don’t have to put these out for bid.
