Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN March 19 2024 6pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Chairman Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Supervisor Miles Macone, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf. Others present: Minutes of February Regular Meeting: Motion by Supervisor Johnson to approve February 2024 minutes, seconded by Supervisor Macone. Motion was carried unanimously. Treasurer’s Report. Treasurer Joan Avery gave Financial Report. Taxes were paid last Month, nothing else to report Correspondence: Letter from Washburn Co. Funds will be available for Clean up Day again this year Letter re: Spooner Lake levels being raised for Spring Public Comment: NONE Old Business NONE New Business: April Electors Meeting 3rd Tuesday of the month Discussion of plowing/sanding funds. Have extra in budget due to weather this year. Could use the leftover for road repair this Spring. Clerk will look into creating a calendar on the website for Town Hall use Highway Update and Expenditures: Ojibwa Road is still on the plan to fix for Spring. We have a town road that we share with Town of Trego. Needs new gravel, we could share the cost with Trego. Payment of Bills: Motion by Johnson to approve the payment of bills Second by Macone motion carried unanimously. Next Regular Board Meeting Date: April 16th 2024 6pm Electors Meeting, Regular meeting to follow.
