Town of Spooner WASHBURN COUNTY – WISCONSIN July 11, 2023 6pm Spooner Town Hall N6124 Blooming Vale Road, Spooner MINUTES REGULAR BOARD MEETING Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Gary Frankiewicz. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present: Chairman Gary Frankiewicz, Supervisor Miles Macone, Supervisor Jon Johnson, Treasurer Joan Avery, Clerk Leslie Arf. Others present: Jeanne Bruce, Ed Fischer, Mabi Plisky, Rick Seckora Minutes of June Regular Meeting: Motion by Supervisor Johnson to approve March 2023 minutes, seconded by Chairman Frankiewicz. Motion was carried unanimously. Treasurer’s Report. Treasurer Joan Avery reported that next month the fire dues and second portion of property taxes will be arriving. General Transportation was received. Correspondence: None Public Comment: Ed Fischer commented on letter from County Zoning re; zoning changes Mabi Plisky commended the crew on the boat landing project. Jeanne Bruce also commented on the County zoning letter, and thanked Miles for fixing Mann Rd Old Business None New Business: Degenaar Rd. Talked to engineer re; disrepair of road. Coud do gravel for a few years then asphalt when budget allows Changes to Shared Revenues and Budget Adjsutment from State Highway Update and Expenditures: Supervisor Macone reported that the ditches were mowed, will discuss if they need to be done again this summer. Last year only was mowed once. Still working on pothole repairs. Payment of Bills: Motion by Macone to approve the payment of bills. Second by Johnson motion carried unanimously. Future agenda Items: Next Regular Board Meeting Date: Tuesday August 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. Adjourn: Motion by Supervisor Johnson to adjourn the meeting, motion seconded by Supervisor Macone; motion carried unanimously.
