Fire & EMS Committee Minutes 7211 McHenry Street / Burlington WI 53105 August 6, 2025 1. Call to order Chairman Czaplewski called to order the meeting of the Fire & EMS committee at 6:35 PM. The meeting was held at Fire Station #2 – 7211 McHenry Street. Committee members Neal Czaplewski, Jeff Rice, Fire Chief Bill Vrchota, Assistant Chief Scott Wingreen, Sara Van Dusseldorp, and Dennis Donohoe were in attendance. 2. Approval of minutes from July 30, 2025 meeting Vrchota motioned to approve the minutes as presented. The motion was seconded by Rice. Motion carried. 3. Discussion on Town’s future EMS direction The committee continued their discussion of an in-house EMS department. The committee reviewed staffing models and phases for implementation. The next meeting will be Monday, August 18, 2025, at 6:30PM at the Town Hall auditorium. The committee will continue to their discussion of an EMS program and look at neighboring communities programs. 4. Adjournment Rice motioned to adjourn at 7:45 PM; Wingreen seconded. Motion carried.
