Fire & EMS Committee Minutes 32288 Bushnell Road / Burlington WI 53105 July 30, 2025 1. Call to order Chairman Czaplewski called to order the first meeting of the Fire & EMS committee at 6:30 PM. The meeting was held in the Town Hall auditorium. Committee members Neal Czaplewski, Jeff Rice, Fire Chief Bill Vrchota, Assistant Chief Scott Wingreen, Deputy Chief Devin Chart, Administrator Rachel Naber, Sara Van Dusseldorp, and Dennis Donohoe were in attendance. 2. Approval of minutes from July 16, 2025 meeting Vrchota motioned to approve the minutes as presented. The motion was seconded by Rice. Motion carried. 3. Discussion on Town’s future EMS direction The committee engaged in a discussion of the capital outlays to create an in-house EMS. The committee also discussed call volumes. The next meeting will be Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 6:30PM at the Fire Station #2, 7211 McHenry Street. The committee will look at the operational model of the EMS 4.
