2026.10.07 ADM Recycle Publication Notice

Village/Town of Somers Notice of Special Charge for 2026 Recycling Collection Services Pursuant to Wis. Stat. 66.0627(3)(a), this shall serve as notice of the 2026 annual recycling collection services fee due to the Village/Town of Somers. If you are the owner of a property that receives recyclables collection services from the Village/Town of Somers, this Notice applies to you. For more information about the fee, please review the Village/Town of Somers website at https://www.somerswi.gov/recycling-charge. The recycling fee amount for the upcoming year will be $62.64 per recycling cart. For example, if the property is a single-family home with one Village/Town-supplied recycling cart, the fee is $62.64. If the property is a four-unit building and has four Village/Town-supplied carts, the total fee is $250.56. You have the option to pay to the Village/Town Treasurer’s Office by November 2, 2026, or the fee will be added to your tax bill. You will not be penalized unless you fail to pay by the first tax installment deadline on January 31, 2027. Payment may be made at the Village/Town Treasurer’s Office at Village/Town Hall, 7511 12 th Street, Kenosha, WI, or mail to P.O. Box 197, Somers, WI, 53171.
