Special Town Board Meeting

AGENDA Special Paris Town Board Meeting 16607 Burlington Road Union Grove, WI 53182 November 20, 2023, 9:00 am Call to order Roll Call Discussion as to draft agreement with Midwest Fiber Network. Possible motion to go into one or more closed sessions, pursuant to sec. 19.85 (1)(e), for conducting specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session, pertaining to (1) a proposed settlement of litigation the Town is presently involved in:  specifically:  Case No:  22-2435, United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Peter Nelson, Plaintiff-Appellant v. Town of Paris, Defendant-Appellee, Appeal from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin No. 22-CV-1100, and (2) negotiating a draft agreement with Midwest Fiber Network. Reconvene into open session(s) following each closed session, if more than one, and take action, if any, as to each of the matters discussed in closed session.
