Town Board Budget Workshop — Minutes

Budget Workshop Minutes Monday, October 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Present were Mark Nordigian, Julie Horbach, George Bailitz, Sue Hughes, David Soderman, Roxanne Johnson, Chief Ferger, Fire Department – Bob Stoll and Matt Gronke Excused: Callie Rucker 1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Nordigian at 6:00 p.m. 2. Chairman Nordigian led those present with the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Chairman Nordigian made a Motion to review and discussion of the proposed 2026 Budget in open session and then go into closed session. Supervisor Horbach seconded the Motion. All Aye. Motion carried. The water patrol presented their budget; it was reviewed by the Board. conversation ensued. The Fire Department presented their budget; it was reviewed by the Board. conversation ensued. The proposed budget was presented, gone over page by page. Chairman Nordigian answered various questions. 4. The Town Board of the Town of Randall will now consider a motion on whether or not to conduct a Closed Session, and if said motion is adopted, then to hold a Closed Session immediately after approval of said motion: Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, all pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(c). Supervisor Horbach made a Motion to go into closed session. Motion was seconded by Supervisor Bailitz. All aye. Motion carried. 5. The Town Board reconvened into open session, immediately after the closed session, and may or may not take action on any matters discussed in closed session. Chairman Nordigian made a motion to reconvene into open session. Supervisor Horbach seconded the motion. All aye. Motion carried. 6. A motion by Supervisor Horbach and seconded by Supervisor Balitiz to adjourn the 2026 Budget workshop. All Aye. Motion carried. Roxanne Johnson Treasurer
