Minutes Town of New Hope Budget Meeting Friday, November 8, 2024, 8:00 pm Board Members in attendance: Chair Todd Knepfel, Supervisor Timm Raddatz, Supervisor Ray Reser. Also present: Treasurer Dorene Stolpa, Clerk Pat Zellmer Guests 1. The Town Board meeting to approve the 2025 budget was called to order by Chair Knepfel at 8:01 pm, immediately following the meeting of the Special Town Electors. 2. In the Special Town Electors Meeting prior to this meeting, both resolutions passed, as did approval of the 2025 Road Budget. a. Resolution 2024-04: Resolution by Town Electors to endorse the Town Board’s resolution to exceed the levy limit by 36.931%, over the state’s allowable 2024 levy limit, for a dollar increase of $46,044, and b. Resolution 2024-05: Resolution by Town Electors to adopt the total town tax levy in the amount of $170,721, for a dollar increase of $46,044 over the allowable 2024 town tax levy. 3. Supervisor Raddatz moved to accept the 2025 budget as written, seconded by Supervisor Reser. Motion carried. 4. Supervisor Reser moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Supervisor Raddatz. Motion carried. 5. Meeting adjourned at 8:07 pm.
