Plan Commission Meeting — Agenda

NOTICE – TOWN OF BARABOO PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Public notice is hereby given that the Town of Baraboo Plan Commission will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6:15 PM at the Baraboo Town Hall, located at 101 Cedar Street, Baraboo, WI 53913. AGENDA 1. Call meeting to order and verify compliance with Wisconsin’s open meeting laws. 2. Introduction of Plan commission members Steve Hess , Randy Puttkamer, Al Stanek, Pat Sprecher, and Lea Ann Gieck. 3. Adopt the agenda for this meeting. 4. Adopt the minutes of the August 3, 2026 meeting. 5. Citizens’ appearance on non-agenda topics. The commission will not take action on any of these topics at this meeting. 6. Discussion and possible action in regards to a special exception permit to authorize a tourist rooming house/short term rental for Jeremy Traska, at S5699 Devils Lake Parkway, Town of Baraboo, Sauk County, WI, tax parcel 002-1307-12800. The property is a newly constructed single family Home located in the Sanitary sewer district. The commission will review county report and ensure all fees paid and forms are complete. 7. Discussion and possible action in regards to a special exception permit to authorize a tourist rooming house/short term rental for Mike Licari, at WI,S5775 Coleman Road, Town of Baraboo, Sauk County, WI, tax parcel 002-1307-10900. The property is a newly constructed single family Home located in the Sanitary sewer district. The commission will review the county report and ensure all fees paid and forms are complete. 8. Discussion and possible action on the Community Survey for the Town of Baraboo Comprehensive Plan. Cassandra Fowler from Sauk County will present Survey Data Review and lead discussion on the housing element of the Town of Baraboo Comprehensive Plan. No changes to the current comprehensive plan at this meeting. 9. Discussion only on room tax ordinance 10. Give communications, updates, and reports. 11. Set the dates for the next meetings. 12. Adjournment. A quorum of the Baraboo Town Board may attend this meeting to gather information about a subject on which the town board has a decision-making responsibility.
