NOTICE TOWN OF BARABOO PLAN COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE – TOWN OF BARABOO PLAN COMMISSION MEETING Public notice is hereby given that the Town of Baraboo Plan Commission will hold a meeting on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 6:15 PM at the Baraboo Town Hall, located at 101 Cedar Street, Baraboo, WI 53913. AGENDA 1. Call meeting to order and verify compliance with Wisconsin’s open meeting laws. 2. Introduction of Plan commission members Steve Hess, Randy Puttkamer, Al Stanek, Pat Sprecher, and Lea Ann Gieck. 3. Adopt the agenda for this meeting. 4. Adopt the minutes of the January 5, 2026 meeting. 5. Citizens’ appearance on non-agenda topics. The commission will not take action on any of these topics at this meeting. 6. Discussion and possible action in regards to approval of a Certified Survey for Jerzy and Anna Maj on tax parcel 002-1387-00000 and 002-1386-00000. These are two empty lots north of property owners lot at S4169 Whispering Pines Drive, Baraboo, WI. Owners with to combine two lots of 1.14 and 1.02 acres into a single 2.16 Acre building site. 7. Discussion and possible action rezone application by Brad Wissmueller on tax parcel 002-0318-1000 located at E11540 State Road 136 Baraboo WI, 53913. Location is 19.79 acres operating as Little Society Farm LLC. Zoning change is from Agriculture to Rec-commercial. 8. Discussion and possible action to renew Special Exception to authorize the continued operation of a non-metallic mining site, one acre or greater and a Non-Metallic Mining Reclamation Permit. The nonmetallic mining operation is located on tax parcels 002-0682-00000, 002-0683-00000, and 002-0685-00000, Town of Baraboo, Sauk County, WI. The property is at the northern boundary of the township on Fox Hill Road and is owned by Mathy Construction Company. Permit is for identical conditions and hours as the previous permit 9. Discussion and possible action to prepare a survey to town residents to obtain feedback on the process of updating the Town of Baraboo Comprehensive plan. No changes to the current comprehensive plan at this meeting. 10. Look though /organize paperwork in the plan commission area. 11. Give communications, updates, and reports. 12. Set the dates for the next meetings. 13. Adjournment. A quorum of the Baraboo Town Board may attend this meeting to gather information about a subject on which the town board has a decision-making responsibility.
