MINUTES OF TOWN OF BARABOO PLAN COMMISSION MEETING The Town of Baraboo Plan Commission held a meeting on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Baraboo Town Hall, located at 101 Cedar Street, Baraboo, WI 53913. 1. Called meeting to order at 5 PM and verified compliance with Wisconsin’s open meeting laws, legal posting 4 days ahead of meeting in three posting boxes. 2. Plan commission members present were Steve Hess, Randy Puttkamer, Al Stanek, Pat Sprecher, and Lea Ann Gieck, absent was town clerk Morgan Olson absent 3. Randy Puttkamer made a motion to adopt the agenda for this meeting. Pat Sprecher seconded. Motion passed unanimously 4. Randy Puttkamer made a motion to adopt the minutes of the Monday, August 4, 2025 meeting. (no meetings September and October 2025). Lea Ann Gieck seconded. Motion passed unanimously 5. No Citizens’ appeared to speak on non-agenda topics 6. Discussion and possible action in regards to approval of a Zoning change from Single-Family Residential Zoning to Agriculture Zoning on lands owned by Marcus and Brittney Mitchell. Parcel to be rezoned is located in the Town of Baraboo, Sauk County. Tax parcel identification number 002-0820-11200 located just north of Wynsong subdivision on Fox Hill Road. Zoning change is to allow a larger accessory building than is allowed under current County zoning for single family residential parcels. Current zoning is single family and land use plan indicates single family residential. Much discussion on this not fitting the town of Baraboo land use map. Sauk county will be changing rules next year to make this change unnecessary. Motion by Randy Puttkamer to recommend Town board refund costs of meeting to petitioner since we were taking no action, seconded by Pat Sprecher. Motion passed unanimously 7. Motion made by Randy Puttkamer. to send to town board for approval a Certified Survey map for Brad Wissmueller on tax parcel 002-0318-1000 located at E11540 State Road 136 Baraboo WI, 53913. Location is 19.79 acres operating as Little Society Farm LLC. Motion seconded by Pat Sprecher. Motion passed unanimously 8. Discussion only updates the Town of Baraboo Comprehensive plan. Cassandra Fowler from county spoke and volunteered to guide the town through the process, will be sending some forms for approval at next month's meeting 9. Give communications, updates, and reports. 10. Set the dates for the next meetings. Dec 5, 2025 and January 5, 2026 11. Motion to adjourn made by Randy Puttkamer, seconded by Lean Ann Geik motion passed, meeting adjourned 6:00 PM A quorum of the Baraboo Town Board may attend this meeting to gather information about a subject on which the town board has a decision-making responsibility.
