Village of Prairie du Sac Village Board Meeting Minutes of Regular Meeting November 9, 2021 1. CALL TO ORDER. The Prairie du Sac Village Board met for their regular meeting on November 9, 2021 at the Prairie du Sac Village Hall, 335 Galena Street, Prairie du Sac, WI. Village President, Cheryl Sherman, called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. Roll Call. Board Members present: Nick Lester, Craig Bender, Jim Witecha, Cheryl Sherman, Abby Dinger- Zach, Andrew Strathman, and Lauri Meixelsperger. Also present were Alan Wildman, Village Administrator, Niki Conway, Clerk/Treasurer, and Troy Murphy, Public Works Director 3. Public Notice of Agenda, deletions/corrections - (Lester/Strathman) moved to approve agenda. Motion Carried. 4. Presentation of Minutes a. October 26, 2021 – (Dinger-Zach/Strathman) moved to approve minutes. Motion Carried. 5. Public Comment (limited to 3 minutes) – Ryan Van Keuren, 399 13th Street, Prairie du Sac, WI 53578 – Concerned with snowmobile routes. Doesn’t feel that the Culvers Community Park should have a 15mph speed limit. States that there is traffic noise in his area and would like to see this taken care of as much as the new subdivisions. 6. Communications a. Treasurer’s Report-Recognized b. Friends of Sauk City History – Recognized c. SP Sewerage Commission Minutes dated October 13, 2021 – Recognized d. SP Police Commission Minutes dated October 13, 2021 - Recognized 7. Action Items – a. Consider Resolution No. 11-09-2021 (a), 2021-2022 Snowmobile Route Designation – Haven’t heard from school about keeping route. (Strathman/Bender) moved to eliminate 13th Street route. Motion Carried. 8. Discussion Items: a. Ordinance No. 7, Series 2021, Annexing Certain Lands Located in the Town of Prairie du Sac, Sauk County, WI – Ready to annex. Plan recommended approval. b. WPPI Energy – Annual $1500. Last year split it up among Sauk Prairie Bar Buddies, Good Neighbor Clinic, Sauk Prairie Food Pantry, and My Neighbor in Need. 9. Reports: a. Committees – Library – Discussed community read called stamped. Rec - Receiving more donations. Administrative – Holiday party to be pushed to summer and personnel manual changes discussed. b. Plan Commission – Approved Annexation Petition for property on HWY 12 and site plan approval for Culver Community Park. c. Engineer – None. d. Director of Public Works/Utilities Report – None. e. Administrators Report- Public Hearing for electric rates; no written comments sent to PSC. f. Presidents Report - None. 10. Adjourn – (Dinger-Zach/Meixelsperger) moved to adjourn at 7:25.
