PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Plover Town Board in Portage County, Wisconsin, will be holding a public hearing on a proposed amendment to its 2021 Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Plover Town Hall located at 5081 Hoover Avenue South, Plover, WI. The Town of Plover Plan Commission adopted a resolution on May 12, 2026, to recommend a proposed amendment to the Town of Plover 2021 Comprehensive Plan to the Plover Town Board. A revision to the Future Land Use Map is being recommended. This revision is to change the Future Land Use Map designation of approximately 4 acres located in the northeast corner of Parcel 030230813-01 from L3 “Limited Agriculture/Mixed Use” to C “Commercial.” Also being considered is a rezoning of these 4 acres located in the northeast corner of Parcel 030230813-01 from A1 “Exclusive Agriculture” to C4 “Highway Commercial” as requested by Alan Pavelski, agent for Joseph and Nancy Pavelski. In addition, rezoning of the remaining 25.27 acres of Parcel 030230813-01 from A1 to A2 “Agricultural Transition” will be considered. Upon close of the public hearing, a meeting of the Town of Plover Town Board shall be called to order, and the proposed amendment to its 2021 Comprehensive Plan and the rezoning requests will be discussed and considered per the agenda.
