FINANCE & PERSONNEL COMMITTEE September 8 , 202 6 6: 45 pm PRESENT : Chairperson Rusniak, Members Pechacek and Garza. ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Steve Volkert and City Clerk Shanna Kreilka mp Call to Order – Chairperson Rusniak called the meeting to order at 6: 45 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers of Hartford City Hall, 109 North Main Street. Public Comment Period – None. Discussion and consideration of confirming the mayoral appointment of Nate Wendelborn as the new Public Works Director . – City Administrator Steve Volkert went over Nate Wendelborn ’s background briefly and informed the Committee that the hiring committee approved the recommendation of Nate Wendelborn to the position of Public Works Director and the effective start date would be October 12 th , 2026. MOTION by Alderperson Garza , seconded by Alderperson Pechacek approving the mayoral appointment of Nate Wendelborn as the new Public Works Director. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY Adjournment – MOTION by Alderperson Pechacek , seconded by Alderperson Garza for adjournment at 6: 48 p.m. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
