UTILITY COMMITTEE Tuesday , August 2 5 , 202 6 6:00pm PRESENT : Members Turchi, Kirley, and Waldvogel ALSO PRESENT : Utilities Director Brian Rhodes and Wastewater Director Dan Dentice Call to Order – Alderperson Turchi called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers of Hartford City Hall, 109 North Main Street. Public Comment Period – None. Update on Electric Service Interruptions and Water Main Breaks – Utilities Director Brian Rhodes provided an update . Presentation of Utilities 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Program Draft Projects (Electric, Water, and Sewer CIP Projects Attached) – Utility Director Brian Rhodes and Wastewater Director Dan Dentice presented a slide show of all the draft projects they are projecting for the next five years. Discussion and consideration of approving the application for Sewer Lateral Replacement Reimbursement by Michael Schroeder 2815 Robin Circle . – Wastewater Director stated informed the Common Council that there is a program that credits homeowners when they connect, they can receive either $1,000 or $6,000 depending on which side of the street they live on and the sewer runs. This resident lives on the far side and can be credited $6,000. The application met all requirements and the project was complete. MOTION by Alderperson Kirley, seconded by Alderperson Waldvogel for approving the application for Sewer Lateral Replacement Reimbursement by Michael Schroeder 2815 Robin Circle. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Adjournment – MOTION by Alderperson Waldvogel , seconded by Alderperson Kirley for adjournment at 6: 2 8 pm. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
