UTILITY COMMITTEE Monday, March 2 , 202 6 6:00pm PRESENT : Members Turchi, Kirley, Waldvogel, and Webb ALSO PRESENT : Utilities Director Brian Rhodes and Wastewater Director Dan Dentice Call to Order – Alderperson Turchi called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers of Hartford City Hall, 109 North Main Street. Public Comment Period – None. Update on Electric Service Interruptions and Water Main Breaks – Utilities Director Brian Rhodes provided an update on recent five water main breaks and one electrical interruption . Discussion and consideration of the approval to have J&H Heating install a new Trane roof top unit for the cost of $27,957.00 . – Wastewater Director Dan Dentice stated that the air and heating unit was inspected during the fall for its annual maintenance and was found to have failing parts. The current unit is 25 years old and was recommended to be replaced. MOTION by Alderperson Kirley , seconded by Alderperson Waldvogel for approving the proposal to have J&H Heating install a new Trane roof top unit for a cost of $27,957.00. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. Adjournment – MOTION by Alderperson Webb, seconded by Alderperson Waldvogel for adjournment at 6:04pm. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
