TOWN OF GENESEE AMENDED SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MINUTES October 2, 2026 8:00 A.M. Chairman Tesch called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Present were Chairman Tesch, Town Board Supervisors Morris, Reece. Supervisor Braun was present via phone. Also, present was Administrator Herrmann and Clerk-Treasurer Majeskie. Supervisor Yatzeck was absent. Discussion/Action - Employee compensation for Health Insurance. Morris made a motion to approve the Town contributing 88% of tier 1 qualified plan average premium for health insurance per month. Single $1075.66 Family 2,647.44, seconded by Reece. The motion passed 4-0. Reece made a motion to approve compensating full-time employees who choose not to take the health insurance to be compensated $10,000.00 for a family plan and $4,000.00 for a single plan for a year. This compensation will be divided by the number of pay periods in that year for payment, seconded by Morris. The motion passed 4-0. Discussion/Action – Purchase of new 2026 Western Star 47X Truck Chassis $135,909.50. Morris made a motion to approve the purchase, seconded by Reece. The motion passed 4-0. Discussion/Action – MSA invoice for work completed to date for the Comprehensive land use plan $9,720.68. Reece made a motion to approve paying the invoice for work completed, seconded by Braun. The motion passed 4-0. Adjourn Braun made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Reece. The motion passed 4-0.
