TOWN OF GENESEE SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MINUTES July 22, 2026 8:00 A.M. Chairman Tesch called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Present were Chairman Tesch, Town Board Supervisors Morris, Reece. Supervisor Yatzeck joined by phone and Supervisor Braun was absent. Also present was Clerk-Treasurer Majeskie. Discussion/Action – Consider and act on position for the Department of Public Works The Board discussed the position and how to fill it. Morris made a motion to approve Looking into hiring a head hunter to fill the position of Public Works Superintendent. The Current Superintendent requested to step down and be a public works worker he will take a cut in pay. The Board is also in favor looking into part time snow plow drivers for extra help during long snow falls or regular workers being sick or injured. Discussion/Action – Contract for Comprehensive land use plan update. This was postponed. Adjourn Morris made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Reece.
