1 Public Services Committee - March 03, 2026 City of Oconomowoc Public Services Committee Meeting Minutes March 03, 2026 - 6:50 PM Aldermen Present: Kevin Ellis, Matt Mulder Aldermen Absent: Charles Schellpeper Also Present: Robert Magnus, Rusty McConnell, Matt Rosek, Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Stan Riffle, Mark Frye, Gina Kozlik, Eric Boettcher, Robert Duffy, Jason Gallo, Brad Timm, Tony Posnik, Tim Reel, Steve Hatton Chairman Ellis called the Public Services Committee Meeting to order at 6:40 PM. Committee Business a. Consider/recommend Resolution 26-R3343 Approving Refuse & Recycle Hauling Contract with John's Disposal Public Works Director Herzog reviewed the details from his memo that this would extend the contract from June 2026 forward and the only change would be moving to scheduling bulk pickup though either email or call and the number of items and frequency. Herzog explained bulk pickups could now be multiple items and could also include tires and electronics/televisions. Bulk collections would be 2 per month, or 8 per year with an email or phone call request. John’s will additionally provide flyers on the new program and there will be more information out to the public. Motion to recommend Resolution 26-R3343 approving Refuse & Recycle Hauling Contract with John's Disposal made by Mulder and seconded by Ellis. Motion carried 2-0-0.
