TOWN OF GENESEE REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING NOVEMBER 11, 2025 IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE BUDGET HEARING AND THE MEETING OF THE ELECTORS AT 6:00 p.m. Chairman Tesch called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m. Present were Chairman Tesch, Town Bord Supervisors Ross, Morris, Braun and Gresser. Also present were Administrator Herrmann, Public Works Superintendent Gryzkewicz and Clerk Treasurer Majeskie. Pledge of allegiance The pledge was said. Public Comment At this time residents can address the Town Board on one or more topics for up to 3 minutes with time extensions at the Town Chairman’s discretion. In connection with non-agenda items, no action will be taken except for possible referrals to individuals or committees. No comments will be received at this time for matters that will be or have been the subject of a public hearing. The proper time for such comments is during the public hearing. This agenda item is limited to a total of 30 minutes, and speakers are heard in the order they sign up, if time is available. Chairman Tesch read the notice. Becky Fedak S54W31500 State Road 59, Discussed having virtual meetings along with the in-person meetings to give the public more access. Chairman Tesch asked if there were any veterans in the room, and wanted to thank them for their service because it was veteran’s day. Discussion/Action - Adopt the 2026 budget Morris made a motion to approve the 2026 budget, seconded by Gresser. The motion passed unanimously. Discussion/Action – 2025 Budget amendment to move $17,587.38 from the public site fund to the park capital outlay account to offset the cost of the park bathrooms/concession building. Ross made a motion to approve the budget amendment, seconded by Morris. The motion passed unanimously. Reports – Clerk-Treasurer - Meri Majeskie Bills to be presented Braun made a motion to approve the bills, seconded by Ross. The motion passed Unanimously Public Works - Jeff Gryzkewicz Report Discussion/Action- Options for removal of woody vegetation from the parks The Board discussed what the DPW department should be done with all the brush and trees from the roadside mowing and trimming. Nothing was decided. Discussion/Action – Third amendment of the Intermunicipal Agreement for Lake Country Fire & Rescue Discussion. Ross made a motion to approve the Third amendment of the Intermunicipal agreement, seconded by Gresser. The motion passed unanimously. Discussion/Action - Minutes to be approved – Regular Town Board Meeting minutes 10-16-2025, Budget Workshop 10-16-2025 and Special Town Board Meeting 10-27- 2025 and 10-31-2025 Special Town Board Meeting. Braun made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Gresser. The motion passed unanimously. Discussion/Action - Operator permit applications None. Correspondence None.
