1 AMERY CITY SPECIAL COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS September 22 , 2026 The Amery City Council met on September 22 , 2026 , at the Amery City Center . Mayor, Rick Van Blaricom called the meeting to order at 7 :0 0 p.m. Roll Call: Clerk-Treasurer , Taylor Larson conducted Roll Call. Present: Mayor , Rick Van Blaricom ; and Alderpersons ; Jason Bottolfson; Adam Honl; Sharon Marks ; and Roger Van Someren . Staff Present: City Administrator, Alex Mansfield; Clerk -Treasurer , Taylor Larson ; Fire Chief, Chuck Frohn; and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Gunderson . Others present: Tom Stangl – Amery Free Press and Erik Henningsgard – SEH Motion by Alderperson Marks ; seconded by Alderperson Bottolfson to adopt the agenda. Ayes – 4 Nayes – 0 Motion Carried. New Business 1. Ladder Truck Discussion and Possible Action – Clerk-Treasurer Larson presented the Joint Fire Committees recommendation to purchase a 1994 Pierce Ladder truck from Facebook Marketplace contingent on it passing certification testing for the pump and ladder as well as an overall inspection. The committee made the recommendation via roll call vote will all 4 jurisdictions involved recommending it. Motion by Alderperson Bottolfson ; seconded by Alderperson Honl to proceed with the purchase of the truck that was discussed pending inspection, testing, and certification.
