Hand, Ald. Herrmann, Ald. Hill, Ald. Hofer, Ald. Kreyer, Ald. Swan, Ald. Williamson Council Absent: Ald. Miller Others Present: Attorney Kelsey, Clerk Poppe, Chief Savitski Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 2025 City of Hayward Budget Budget Hearing – 2025 City of Hayward Budget A public hearing was held regarding the 2025 City of Hayward Budget. The overall 2025 City of Hayward budget amount ($2,279,013) increased $89,777 over the 2024 budget amount ($2,189,236). The proposed 2024 tax levy amount was listed at $1,344,163: a decrease of $6,497 levied for taxes for 2023. Approval of the 2025 City of Hayward Budget Ald. Hand made a motion, seconded by Ald. Hofer to approve and adopt the 2025 City of Hayward Budget as published and presented. Roll Call V ote: Ald. Hand – yes; Ald. Herrmann – yes; Ald. Hill – yes; Ald. Hofer – yes; Ald. Kreyer – yes; Ald. Swan – yes; Ald. Williamson- yes. Motion carried. Ayes (7), Nays (0) 2025 City of Hayward Water & Sewer Utility Budget Budget Hearing – 2025 City of Hayward Water & Sewer Utility Budget A public hearing was held regarding the 2025 City of Hayward Water & Sewer Utility Budget. The Railroad Street reconstruction project is the only major project planned for 2025. The principal and interest payments budgeted for 2025 will be for payment on the 2nd Street reconstruction project loan. Clerk Poppe stated that these figures are only estimates at this time, as the 2nd Street reconstruction project has not been finalized. Approval of the 2025 City of Hayward Water & Sewer Utility Budget Ald. Hand made a motion, seconded by Ald. Swan to approve and adopt the 2025 City of Hayward Water & Sewer Utility Budget as presented. Roll Call V ote: Ald. Hand – yes; Ald. Herrmann – yes; Ald. Hill – yes; Ald. Hofer – yes; Ald.
