Town of Sherry Wood County Wisconsin Board of Review Tuesday September 9th, 2025 4:30-6:30 PM 9285 2nd Street Milladore, WI 54454 1. Called Board of Review to order at 4:30pm 2. Roll Call - George Lang, Les Holtz, Jeff Bean, Todd Pauls, Tena Linse 3. Confirmation of appropriate Board of Review and Open Meeting notices a. Notice provided 5.22.25 to 6.10.25 board of review meeting to adjourn. b. Notice provided 7.22.25 for 9.2.25 open book meeting and 9.9.25 board of review meeting. 4. Select Chairperson for Board of Review a. Motion to select George Lang as chairperson by Bean, 2nd by Holtz. 5. Select Vice-Chairperson for Board of Review a. Motion to select Jeff Bean as vice-chairperson by Holtz, 2nd by Lang. 6. Verify that a member has met the mandatory training requirements a. Jeff Bean & George Lang attended training on 3.21.25. 7. Verify that the town has an ordinance for the confidentiality of income and expense information provided to the assessor under state law (sec.70.47(7)(af) a. Ordinance 04-18-20017 in place. 8. Review policy on procedure for waiver of BOR Hearing requests. a. Policy amended and approved requiring request be filed 48hrs in advance of board of review meeting on 6.13.17. 9. Verify that ordinance is in place to assign the clerk as a voting member of the board of review. a. Clerk Linse was approved as a voting member of the board of review on 5.20.2025. 10. Receipt of the Assessment Roll by clerk from the Assessor a. Received 8.6.25 from Wood County Treasurer 11. Review of the Assessment Roll 12. Discussion/Action - Verify with the assessor that open book changes are included in the assessment roll. Verified 13. Motion to accept tax roll by Holtz, Bean 2nd. 14.
