TOWN OF CARY5688 ACCOLA ROADPITTSVILLE, WI 54466Town Board MeetingDecember 12, 2023(Unofficial)The December 12th, 2023 meeting of the Cary Town Board was called to order at 6:00 PM. Chairman Mark Gosh lead with the Pledge of Allegiance and a Prayer.Present at the meeting were town board members: Chair-Mark Gosh, Supervisors-Dennis Brunner and Dale Zawislan, Treasurer-Carey Rucker, Clerk-Jean Gansch, Deputy Clerk-Lori Hiebl. Also, present were 8 members of the community.The board reviewed and signed checks.Minutes of the November 14th, 2023 Town Board Meeting were read and a motion to accept the minutes was made by Dennis Brunner and seconded by Dale Zawislan, Motion carried.Minutes of the November 14th, 2023 Budget Hearing were read and a motion to accept the minutes was made by Dale Zawislan, seconded by Dennis Brunner, motion carried.Discussion was held on items brought up in the minutes from last month’s meeting. Treasurer’s Report was given by Carey Rucker, motion to file Treasurer’s Report was made by Dennis Brunner and seconded by Dale Zawislan, motion carried.Old Business:Utility Policy—tabled until January’s meetingRoad Condition Report—roads in good condition for this time of the yearEquipment Report—Operator/Maintenance did some repair on equipment, considering painting the backhoePublic Input: What do we use for icy conditions? Chairman’s reply: sand and salt, especially on corners and curvesChairman Gosh requested that the citizens please contact him if they see unsafe conditions and he will contact our worker to take care of it.Time and Date of Next Month’s Meeting: January 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM.Motion to Adjourn made by Dennis Brunner and seconded by Dale Zawislan, motion carried.The Board and residents stayed to enjoy the Christmas Festivities including refreshments, music, and Door Prizes. A gift basket consisting of maple syrup, honey, chocolate covered cranberries, a block of cheese, a stick of summer sausage, caramel corn, and festive pot holders.
