Monthly Meeting October 12 2020

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting October 12, 2020 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), & Keith Albright (Resident). 4. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the September 14, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes as adjusted. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the September 22, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes as printed. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 7. Fire Chief’s Report. 7 calls. 8. First Responders Report. 2 calls. 9. Road Maintenance a. Ditching Cleaning/Letter to Residents. Both were discussed. b. Title Company was discussed. 10. Building Maintenance a. Security Lights were discussed. b. Ceiling Lights c. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to purchase three wooden highchairs for the Town Hall. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 11. Chris McDaniel made a motion to set the capacity of the Town Hall at 336. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 12. November Election was discussed. Dave made a motion to hold a special meeting of the board on Wednesday, November 4th at 5:30pm to pay Election Day bills. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. 13. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to charge a $10 per day storage fee starting October 13th for the purchaser of the Old Rescue Truck. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 14. Chris McDaniel made a motion to accept Cooper Propane 2020-2021 winter contract at $0.99 per gallon for 1,500 gallons. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 15. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to sign a Winter Contract with Wood County Hwy Dept for snow removal. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 16. Cemetery Deed was issued for Lot #55A to Raphael Maciejewski. 17. Chris McDaniel made a motion to reduce the Town Hall COVID cleaning fee to $30.00. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion.
