Monthly Meeting July 13 2020

Town of Richfield, Wood County Monthly Board Meeting July 13, 2020 1. Jim Good called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. The following persons were present: Tirzah Draeger (Clerk), Tammi Pernsteiner (Treasurer), Jim Good (Chairman), Dave Steinmetz (Supervisor #1), Chris McDaniel (Supervisor #2), Josh Sabo (Fire Chief), & Keith Albright (Resident). 4. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to approve the June 8, 2020 Public Board meeting minutes after amended. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 5. Chris McDaniel made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as printed. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 6. Fire Chief’s Report. 5 calls, all were cancelled. 7. First Responders Report. 1 call. 8. Road Maintenance a. Chip Sealing. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to accept the bid from Scott Construction Inc. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. b. Ditching was discussed. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to contact the County regarding Ditch on South Washington. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. c. Chris McDaniel made a motion to go with the Crack Filling list as amended. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 9. Building Maintenance a. Town Hall doors were discussed. b. Wainscoting was discussed. c. Fire Department Doors were discussed. Chris McDaniel made a motion to update the Fire Department overhead door openers. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 10. July 17th – Towns Association Meeting was discussed. 11. Dave Steinmetz made a motion to list Surplus Town Equipment items on the Surplus Auction. Chris McDaniel 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 12. Flag Pole at Cemetery was discussed. 13. Election Equipment was discussed 14. Items intended for future meeting: a. COVID cleaning of the Town Hall b. Old Rescue Truck 15. Accounts Payable: Chris McDaniel made a motion to Approve/Pay monthly bills. Dave Steinmetz 2nd the motion. The motion carried. 16.
