Monthly Board Meeting — Minutes

Seneca Town Hall 3540 County Highway Q Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495 Regular Monthly Board Meeting (Minutes are not official until the Board approves them) May 7, 2025 The Town of Seneca Board met for a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the town hall. Dean Oilshlager called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m, opening with the Pledge of Allegiance. In attendance were Dean Oilschlager,Dave Carolfi, Tom Wolf, Sheila Grosskreutz, Janet Hohl, Greg Stashek, and Jackie Kitowski. Tom Wolf made a motion to accept the minutes from the April 2, 2025 regular monthly Board Meeting. Dave Carolfi seconded the motion. Motion carried. Dave Carolfi made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report for April and pay the bills brought before the board. Tom Wolf seconded the motion. Motion carried Public Input- New Town of Seneca Website. Correspondence 1. PSC sent a letter about the transmission line. 2. Sanitary Permit for Fanning Cranberry 3. Safety Recall sent from Ford Company about a recall. 4. The Wood County Highway Department sent a list of the services they can supply. 5. A letter was sent from JJ Brush Co with an advertisement for brush cutting in the Town of Seneca 6. TheConservation, Education and Economic Development Committee have some grants available for improvements to the park. Road Work 1. On the Road Tour, it was determined that some new signs were needed. Several street signs, stop ahead, and dead end road signs.. 2. Range Road needs to be graded 3. The board also discussed roads that might be eligible for grant money. 4. A trailer needed to take the lawn mower to the park. The Board will meet May 17th at 10 am at the Town Hall to work on putting the truck and trailer on the auction website. Adjourn – A motion was made by Tom Wolf to adjourn the board meeting; seconded by Dave Carolfi. Motion carried.
