MINUTES Town of Seneca Public Budget Hearing & Special Town Meeting Held on November 22, 2022 at 5pm at the Seneca Town Hall, WI Rapids, WI 54495 Meeting certification & notification: This agenda has been posted in three physical locations and the Town of Seneca website to notify the public of the date, place & time. Chairman Dean Oilschlager to call the public budget meeting to order: Meeting called to order promptly at 5pm. Motion to accept the 2023 Town of Seneca budget of $319,430. Motion by J. Wolf and second by V. Oilschlager. Motion carried. _________________________________________________________________________________ The special Town Meeting of the electors was held immediately following the public budget hearing to adopt the 2022 Tax Levy and approve the 2023 highway expenditures. Motion to adopt the 2022 tax levy: Motion by J. Wolf and second by V. Oilschlager to accept the 2022 tax levy of $148,918. Motion carried. Motion to approve the 2023 highway expenditures: Motion by J. Wolf and second by V. Oilschlager to accept the highway expenditures of $97,000. Motion carried. Motion to adjourn at 5:30 pm by D. Carolfi and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried. Motion to adjourn at 8:30 pm by D. Alnes and second by T. Wolf. Motion carried. Minutes are in draft form until approved at the next Town Board Meeting.
