1 TOWN OF PORT EDWARDS PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT MEETING MINUTES Date: March 11th, 2024 Call to Order: Chairman Randy Moody called the public hearing to order at 6:00p.m. The pledge of allegiance was recited to begin the meeting. Meeting Certification: This meeting has been properly posted (on the Town Hall door) as well as published on our website to notify the public of date, place, time, and agenda. Attendance: Chairman Randy Moody, Supervisors Tim Schmidt, Jeff O’Donnell, Treasurer Kathy Reese, Clerk Michelle Sorenson, and Road Superintendent Adam Lueneburg. There were also ten people present from the public. Agenda:C Approve the agenda Hear from Trucks on 73 LLC who has applied for a conditional use permit Public comments/questions Adjourn Motion was made by Schmidt and seconded by O’Donnell to approve the agenda. Motion carried. Presentation: Luke Maher gave a short background of how the business came to be. He plans to have 6-8 cars and/or trucks available on the lot for sale. The vehicles typically come from out East or down South. Sales will be done by appointment because Luke works full time for the City of Nekoosa as a police officer. The floor was opened up for questions and/or comments. There were none. Adjourn: Being no other business to conduct, O’Donnell made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:12p.m. and Schmidt seconded.
