Meeting Minutes Approved September 15, 2025. Attest: ___________________________________ Minutes of the Town of Marshfield Board Meeting Town of Marshfield Hall – 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 11, 2025 Chairman John Salzmann called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In attendance were: Salzmann , Supervisors Mason Gukenberger & Randy Weigel, Treasurer Scott Wunrow and Clerk Janet Meyer. There were no visitors. Motion Gukenberger/2nd Weigel to approve the minutes of the 7/14/25 Board meeting. Motion carried 3-0. Motion Weigel/2nd Gukenberger to approve the treasurer’s report showing an operating balance of $371,462.81 and a $109,976.01 CD. Motion carried. 3-0. • Public Comments/Concerns – o None. • Zoning Administrator - o 3 permits were issued this month and fees were submitted. • Fire Department – o Bills were reviewed. Motion Gukenberger/2nd Weigel to approve fire dept. bills. Motion carried 3-0. o They are getting bids for the blacktop replacement in the hose washing area of the parking lot. • Roads – o The Stadt Road approach south of H was repaired and a ditch was dug to the divert water from running across the road o Shortt Lane turn-around installation was completed o Mill Creek Bridge replacement start date was changed to September 15 and the McMillan Creek bridge will start approximately 1 week later with an anticipated completion date of November 14th . The town will receive notice 1 week before project start date. The current replacement estimate for both bridges is $820,870.55. o After discussion about roads – Motion Weigel/2 nd Gukenberger to put an additional 3 -4” of road base on South Rondivoo later this year and to contract with Wood County to do the grading . Motion carried 3-0. • Old Business – o Town website was viewed & discussed. Motion Gukenberger/2nd Weigel to authorize Gukenberger to create a Town of Marshfield Facebook page to use for marketing & information to direct people to the town website . Motion carried 3-0. • New Business – o None • Reviewed Town bills. Motion Weigel/2nd Gukenberger to pay Town of Marshfield bills. Motion carried 3-0. • Correspondence – o Notice was received from Marathon County informing us of a public hearing for the McGivern Creek Bridge Replacement in the Town of McMillan on County Road T in 2027. o Another open records request was received from SWID Law Offices for building permit information for property located at 10055 Day Rd., all occupancy permits issued for the past 10 years and any written communication between the Building Inspector and the property owner in the past 2 years which has been sent to them. • The next meeting will be held on September 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. • Motion Gukenberger/2nd Weigel to adjourn.
