Village of Whiting Building Committee Meeting Minutes Date of Meeting: Wednesday, October 7th Time of Meeting: 6:00 p.m. Place of Meeting: Whiting Municipal Center Meeting was called to order at 6pm by Chairperson Kevin Lutz. 1. Roll Call: Members present: Lutz (Trustee), Kaczmarek (Trustee), absent Mark Deavers. Also present: Bill Taugner, Sarah Brillowski. 2. Persons wishing to address the committee. As needed. 3. Discussion and possible action re. Backup power for the Village Hall. A full building generator was discussed with the possibility of USDA Facilities Grant being available. Kaczmarek said he would look into grants and made the motion to have Public Works Director to look into bids for a generator. Seconded by Lutz. Motion carried. 4. Such other matters as permitted by law. None. 5. Adjourn. Motion made by Kaczmarek and seconded by Lutz to adjourn. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Meeting was adjourned at 6:05pm.
