1 VILLAGE OF WHITING BOARD MINUTES Village of Whiting Municipal Center 3600 Water Street, Stevens Point WI 54481 Tuesday, October 6, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. ______________________________________________________________________________ Note: These are the DRAFT Minutes that will be approved at the next meeting. 1. Call to Order. Meeting was called to order by President Bill Taugner at 6:00 pm. 2. Roll Call. Present were President Bill Taugner, Trustees Mike Kaczmarek, Ben Lasecki, Kevin Lutz, Paul Stroik, Jeanna Trzebiatowski (Trustee Troy Hojnacki, excused) and Clerk/Treasurer Pam Filtz. Also in attendance were a number of Village residents. 3. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 4. Motion made by Trustee Stroik, seconded by Trustee Lasecki to approve the Personnel Committee recommendation for Gardner’s Cleaning Company. Motion carried by voice vote. 5. Board members engaged in conversation with Aaron Bembnister from Teamsters Local 662 with questions. Motion made by Trustee Stroik, seconded by Trustee Trzebiatowski to approve the Personnel and Utility Committees’ recommendation to go with TeamCare Health Insurance Plan M9. Motion carried five to one with Trustee Lutz voting in opposition. 6. There being no further business, motion made by Trustee Stroik, seconded by Trustee Lasecki to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. Meeting was adjourned at 6:18 p.m.
