Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE there will be a Public Hearing before the City of Oconomowoc Common Council on October 20, 2026 at 7:30 pm in Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall, 174 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc WI. The purpose of the hearing is to hear public comment on the application submitted by Jennifer Heidenreich, VJS Construction Services, on behalf of John & Monique Olsen, Property Owner, to rezone 196 SF of land (.0045 acres) with dimensions of 8.5’ x 23’ located directly north of 162 E. Wisconsin Avenue. The area is zoned IP – Institutional / Public District and the request is to rezone it to MC – Mixed-Use Commercial. The area to be rezoned is owned by the City of Oconomowoc and is an unused area of the municipal parking lot. This area is tentatively being sold to the owners of 162 E. Wisconsin Avenue who intend to combine the 196 SF with their existing parcel to allow for a future building addition for Make It Happy Cafe. The complete application may be viewed on the City’s website at www.oconomowoc-wi.gov under Public Notices or in the City Planner’s office at City Hall during regular business hours.
