MINUTES VILLAGE OF WHITING ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING Village of Whiting Municipal Center 3600 Water Street, Stevens Point WI 54481 Tuesday, April 21, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. ______________________________________________________________________________ 1. Roll Call. President Bill Taugner, Trustees Troy Hojnacki, Mike Kaczmarek, Ben Lasecki, Kevin Lutz, Paul Stroik, Jeanna Trzebiatowski all present. 2. President Taugner gave the President’s Message. 3. Nomination and Election of Trustee to Serve on Plan Commission. Nominations were opened. Trustee Paul Stroik was nominated by Trustee Ben Lasecki. Upon hearing no further nominations, nominations were closed. By unanimous voice vote, Trustee Stroik was appointed to serve on the Plan Commission. 4. Committees and Commission Appointments. A proposed list was prepared and distributed by President Taugner. Motion by Trustee Trzebiatowski, seconded by Trustee Stroik to accept the Committees and Commission appointments for 2026-2027. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. 5. Nomination and Election of Trustee to Serve as President Pro Tem. Nominations were opened. Trustee Kaczmarek nominated Trustee Lasecki for President Pro Tem. By unanimous voice vote, Trustee Lasecki was appointed to serve as President Pro Tem. 6. Adjournment. Motion by Trustee Stroik and seconded by Trustee Lasecki to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. Meeting was adjourned at 6:07 p.m.
