VILLAGE OF NELSONVILLE VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES Tuesday 1/11/22 5:30pm UNAPPROVED MINUTES The Caucus was called to order by President Josh Stolzenburg. Present at the meeting were: President Josh Stolzenburg, Trustee Mark Brueggeman, Trustee Walter Leppen and Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. Citizens present: Mark Pearson, Judah Haas, Jery Dunn Trustee Nominee: Mark Pearon nominated Walter Leppen. Seconded by Karla Leppen. Walter Leppen will appear on the April 2022 ballot. Caucus adjourned at 5:40pm Meeting was called to order. M/S, Leppen/Bruggeman move to approve the December Board minutes, all in favor, motion carried. Treasurer’s report submitted by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz. M/S, Leppen/Brueggeman, move to pay the bills as presented by Clerk/Treasurer Daniel Bootz, all in favor, motion carried. Correspondence was reviewed. Village Hall Updates – Bid package should be ready for review by the February Board Meeting Christmas Decorations – Leppen will be working on removing decorations or getting them unplugged. Leppen will also be reviewing options for additional, replacement or new decorations for the village. Updates GCAC – No updates Groundwater – Completed another round of water samples. Church committee will be considering the request for funds for possible well project in the village. This may lead to a recommendation to the congregation. Park Commission – Park committee was meeting on 1/11/22. They are working on Park Master Plan. Fire Commission – State has passed a bill that benefits first responders.
